Founded over 20 years ago, the Boone County Sheriff’s Auxiliary began with a simple but powerful mission: to support our local law enforcement community and their families. Over the years, our dedication and impact have grown, and in 2024, we proudly achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, solidifying our commitment to serving the community in a more structured and impactful way.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we are driven by a team of passionate individuals who work tirelessly to enhance the well-being of deputies and their loved ones. Our mission is to provide essential services and support through celebrating life’s milestones, offering emergency assistance, and providing compassionate care during times of need. From organizing events for new hires, weddings, births, promotions, and retirements, to delivering critical aid in emergencies and grief, we are here to make a positive difference in the lives of those who serve our community.

Every volunteer hour and donation fuels our efforts, ensuring that we can continue our work with the dedication and care that our deputies and their families deserve. By supporting the Auxiliary, you become a part of a supportive network that honors the commitment and sacrifices of our law enforcement family.

“Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact and build a stronger, more connected community.”

The Boone County Sheriff’s Auxiliary is a 100% volunteer operated organization. While it exists to support the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, it is a separate and independent entity. All donations are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3) status.
